New Balance's success in recent years can be attributed to multiple factors, including the resurgence of mesh runners and their knack for reviving forgotten silhouettes into modern classics. The latter regards the T500 silhouette, originally a performance tennis sneaker in the '80s. Thanks to a collaboration with Aime Leon Dore, the model returned in 2023 and has since been released in an inline Reflection colorway. Following up on this, NB introduces the Reflection Nori iteration.
The New Balance T500 Reflection Nori features a premium construction with a suede and nubuck on the upper. The sneaker showcases a clean cream hue that dominates most of the design, providing a sleek and versatile look. A white leather N logo adds a touch of contrast, breaking up the tonal panels for a balanced aesthetic. The standout detail is the leather heel tab, covered in a rich green hue dubbed Nori, which includes white New Balance branding. Underfoot, a cream midsole and tonal outsole complete the look, ensuring comfort and style.
The New Balance T500 Reflection Nori will release on July 17, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
