Franck Muller may be well known for his watchmaking for the likes of Lil Uzi Vert and others, but get a load of his upcoming collaboration with New Balance on the 327 silouhette. Coming together for the third time, Franck Muller and New Balance have a duo of New Balance MS327 on the way.
The pack consists of a navy/white pair and a white/multi-color combo sneaker, both being influenced by Franck’s iconic watch designs. Starting with the navy/white, we get a full leather upper split dressed in a two-tone color palette. On the lateral side you’ll find a navy base layer with the New Balance N logo and multiple leather overlays dressed in an accenting white. Over on the medial, the color palette is reversed with the base layer covered in navy numbers, reminiscent of Muller’s Vanguard Yachting watch. This same design also works its way on the N logo back on the lateral side. Muller’s final touch comes in the form of a branded lace locket in the center of the navy laces. Rounding out the look is a white midsole paired to a navy hi-traction rubber outsole that wraps up on both the front and back.
Muller’s multi-color and white pair comes constructed in the same leather build as the white/navy. A mismatch mix of purple, red, pink, blue, green, and yellow take over the various overlays around the silhouette. Its white base also comes contrasted by a multi-color set of numbers that can be seen throughout the midfoot panel and N logo on the medial and lateral sides respectively. A set of navy blue laces are held in place with yet another Franck Muller branded lace lock, this time coming in a mix of gum and purple rubber. Rounding out the entire look is the white midsole paired to a tie-dye mix of red and yellow on the rubber outsole.
The Franck Muller x New Balance MS327 pack is set to release exclusively through Franck Muller's JP website on March 26th. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at ¥22,000 (approx $185 USD).
