New Balance Celebrates Cooper Flagg With a Flagg Day Collection Ahead of the NBA Draft

During his time at Duke University, New Balance took a gamble when it signed Cooper Flagg, the top prospect in the 2025 NBA Draft. When he was taking the court for the Blue Devils, the school’s contractual obligations to Nike required Flagg to rock Nike’s on the court, but off the hardwood, Cooper was consistently seen in NB sneakers. Once he enters the NBA, he’ll finally be able to wear New Balance hoop shoes in-game, and to celebrate the generational talent ahead of the draft, NB is dropping a collection of clothing for “Flagg Day.”
The Made in USA apparel collection features a crewneck sweatshirt and a t-shirt, the latter coming in three colors and the former in two. Heather Grey and royal blue options are available for both silhouettes, while the t-shirt also gets a white colorway.

FLAGG DAY: New Balance and Cooper Flagg are teasing something for June 25th (NBA Draft Day) 👀
With Flagg expected to be drafted number 1 overall by the Dallas Mavericks, the royal blue, grey, and white colors lean perfectly into the team’s color palette. The design is simple as NB’s iconic font is used for the Flagg Day text, and an NB logo is placed just below it. Of course, with the clothing manufactured in the US, the quality will be top-notch. The t-shirt comes in at 195 GSM, and the sweatshirt at 440 GSM.
The New Balance Flagg Day Collection will release on June 23, 2025, just ahead of the NBA Draft, which takes place on June 25, 2025. The sweatshirt is priced at $155, and the t-shirt is priced at $75.
