New Balance's Coco CG1 Twisted Net Channels French Fashion
Published
Coinciding with the French Open, New Balance and young tennis sensation Coco Gauff are set to release a fresh colorway for her signature model. Introducing the Coco CG1 “Twisted Net,” a testament to Coco's vibrant on-court style and a nod to classic French fashion.
The “Twisted Net” CG1 mirrors the aesthetics of a tennis net but does not shy away from adding artistic flair. It embraces a melange of bright blues and greens intertwined across the upper, reflecting the dynamic essence of Coco's on-court style. A stark white and black background sets a distinct stage for these energetic pops of color, providing an edgy, modern twist to the tennis shoe design. Branding details are split between Coco and New Balance, with the former on the tongue tag. Rounding out the design is the white FuelCell-cushioned midsole paired with a blue, green, and clear outsole.
The New Balance Coco CG1 Twisted Net will release May 26 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
