New Balance continues its impressive streak of Made in USA releases under Teddy Santis's creative direction. With each season bringing new and exciting colorways, the brand has managed to keep sneakerheads eagerly anticipating what's next. As Season 5 wraps up, glimpses of the upcoming Season 6 Collection have surfaced, including another New Balance 993 Made in USA. This release follows the reveal of the New Balance 990v6 Made in USA Purple, both part of Teddy Santis' meticulously crafted lineup.
The New Balance 993 has long been celebrated for its premium construction and timeless design, and the Olive Leaf colorway is no exception. This model features a blend of pigskin suede overlays and nubuck, all set on a breathable mesh base. The primary olive leaf shades dominate the mudguard, midfoot, eyestays, and heel, giving the sneaker a cohesive, earthy tone. Darker olive hues are found on the toebox and collar overlays, adding depth.
The sneaker includes hits of silver on the iconic N logo that accentuates the natural tones. The sockliner and heel tab brings a splash of color with yellow and purple, respectively, providing a subtle yet effective contrast. The tan mesh base complements the color scheme, ensuring the sneaker is stylish and versatile. Underfoot, the 993 has a cream and tan foam midsole, offering comfort and support, paired with a durable black outsole for traction.
The New Balance 993 Made in USA Olive Leaf will release in September 19, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
