New Balance is doing big things over in Beantown with a growing lineup of sports stars, from Kawhi Leonard and Tyrese Maxey leading the way in the NBA and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers knocking it out of the park in the MLB. But don’t count out New Balance’s influence across the pond.
For four decades, the UK has been building its own culture with the brand via the Made In UK label, which has long been known for its attention to detail and craftsmanship. One of the line’s hallmark silhouettes in recent years is the 991v2, with a plurality of colorways each season.

Adding to that growing selection from the Flimby label is the latest New Balance 991v2 Made in UK, featuring an orange hue that adds a bright pop that serves as a perfect contrast to the dreary UK weather. The Filmby icon begins with an orange mesh base that comes overlaid with matching red-orange suede panels throughout the upper.
Joining that eye-catching upper are reflective silver details that come on the structural supports on the toe box, the embroidered N logos on the side panels, the laces, the Made in England tag on the tongue, and v2 branded heel tab. The silhouette works in other minor pops of color to break up the vivid colorway, including semi-translucent tan ABZORB pods that support the heel of the white and tan midsole.
The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Orange is set to release in April 2026 via New Balance and select retailers. Available in unisex sizes, the retail price is at $270. For all of the latest New Balance news and release info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
