New Balance’s Made in USA line is well known for their high quality materials, craftsmanship, and equally high prices. In an effort to provide a product for everyone, the brand is releasing a vegan version of the ultimate dad shoe, the 990v5. Coming in the classic grey the brand is famous for, the vegan suede overlays adorn the top of the mesh base. Heading to the white midsole, the EVA cushioning features the standard ENCAP technology providing one with immaculate comfort. While everything may appear identical to a standard 990v5, the heel portion which features the “V” insignia comes in white and green, indicating that the sneaker is made of vegan materials.
The New Balance 990v5 Vegan is set to release on January 21st, 2022. It will drop at New Balance as well as select retailers in-store and online.
