Much like the 990v3 before it, the New Balance 990v4 has become a popular silhouette both among collaborators and within the Made in USA line. With a clean white and green rendition from the Teddy Santis-led line on the horizon, New Balance is also delivering the 990v4 Made in USA in black and silver.
The 990v4 starts with a layer of black athletic mesh with Black leather overlays stretching atop. Hits of metallic silver come from the reflective "N" logo in its usual spot and a plastic eyelet. Further reflective detailing can be found on the heel branding, the leather heel tab, and small strips on the tip of the toe box. Below, a three-tone midsoles goes from light grey to dark grey and then an even darker shade that matches with the heel clip. Completing the package is a black and grey Ndurance outsole.
The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Black will release October 3, 2023 via New Balance and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $185.
