Making its debut through a Joe Freshgoods collaboration, the New Balance 9060 has drawn quite the buzz within the sneakerhead world. While both a collaboration with Mowalola and an inline Sea Salt colorway have been teased, we’re set to get even more inline releases with official images emerging of the New Balance 9060 "Brown."
Combining the New Balance 860v2 with elements of the 99X series, the silhouette brings aesthetics of the Y2K era into the modern day. Taking on dark brown tones mixed with blacks and whites, the sneaker is covered in a combo of mesh and suede throughout the underlays and overlays respectively. Down around the toe, suede overlays in grey and black sit atop the brown mesh below, though the vamp nearby gets a lighter grey makeover. White cotton laces run towards the NB 9060 label atop the tongue.
Working back towards the midfoot, an enlarged N logo in silver is backed by white leather, split between the brown overlays of the rear and black overlays on the front half. Once you cross the halfway point along the profile, the underlay switches to a black mesh, though the medial side gets a hit of white near the collar. Underfoot, the chunky multi-density midsole gets a two-tone cream and white makeover. Rounding out the look is the black rubber outsole in a diamond-shaped design inspired by the classic 860.
The New Balance 9060 Brown is slated to release on August 13th through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
