Over at New Balance, many of the brand's sneaker releases take on a more “mature” color palette with various earth tones and neutral shades dressing a large chunk of its products. While this is often the case for the premium lineup of offerings, the New Balance 550 has been able to cross in and out of this color palette with some releases taking on a more neutral look and others bursting with vibrant tones. Coming with a mix of both, the New Balance 550 “White Multi-Color” has just received official images.
Taking on the leather, suede, and mesh construction, this “White Multi-Color” rendition sees the majority of the leather overlays take on a creamy white shade with pops of color appearing near the back half of the model. Blue hues line the “550” branded perforated leather overlay while also appearing on the “N” logo along the midfoot and back on the rubber heel counter. Magenta and purple find a home on the suede overlay and mesh collar respectively and come accented by a leather overlay on the collar in yellow, following the same color scheme found on the trimming of the previously mentioned “N” logo and the lining of the tongue. Underfoot sits a white NB 550 midsole paired with a blue, grey, and white rubber outsole.
The New Balance 550 White Multi-Color (W) is set to release in 2023 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
