A classic color combination hits the equally-as-classic sneaker.
A couple of years ago, thousands of sneakerheads from across the globe swore that they would never take part in the dad shoe trend. With that said, it’s 2022 and the sneaker landscape is looking totally different. Chunky runners have been completely dominating the game for the past two years, and it doesn’t look like the hype is about to stop anytime soon as we take a sneak peek at the New Balance 1906R "White Navy Gold."
One of the latest colorways to hit the 1906R silhouette, this particular palette really reminds us of one of the OG pairs from 2010. Made predominantly from white mesh, a metallic silver leather panel adorns the toe box while additional full grain strips run across the upper in a tonal navy hue. This is accented with luxe gold, which also outlines the “N” and makes its way to the chunky N-ERGY midsole underfoot. Interestingly enough, subtle yet striking red tones feature on the tongue, resulting in a surprisingly patriotic vibe.
The New Balance 1906R White Navy Gold is scheduled to release before the end of 2022 in men’s sizes. New Balance and select online and physical retailers will stock these with a price tag of $150.
