Over the past few years, we’ve seen every single major footwear label release their own take on the retro sneaker trend. While some of the colorways just don’t seem right, others, like the New Balance 1906R "White Green," hit the nail right on the head. Even though this particular model debuted in 2010, it borrows elements from the ‘80s and ‘90s and executes it perfectly.
With the end of the year now in sight, we’re now checking out some of the sneakers that New Balance has planned from now until the beginning of 2023. Featuring a crisp white upper, the base is crafted from a breathable mesh and is overlaid by leather paneling. A light grey TPU cage wraps around the heel, and the green woven laces are interlocked with the signature “N” logo. More green accents adorn the cream N-ERGY unit underfoot, and this is then lined with a healthy dose of gum rubber that provides an insane amount of traction with every step, particularly important during the wetter months ahead.
The New Balance 1906R White Green is set to release in 2022. It will drop at New Balance as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
