Even though summer is officially coming to an end, it doesn’t mean you should begin packing away your all-white sneakers. In fact, New Balance thinks you should do the complete opposite as they take the wraps off the New Balance 1906R Leather "White Grey."
NB has unveiled an army of new 1906Rs over the past few weeks, but this “White Grey” iteration is slightly different from the rest. While this sneaker still features the breathable mesh base that the 1906R is renowned for, the majority of it is actually covered up by an expanse of leather that adorns the lateral and medial side panels, taking up most of the upper. This is contrasted by a light grey TPU cage around the heel, and complemented by the Boston giant’s newly-developed N-LOCK system which combines the logo with the laces for an extremely seamless setup.
The New Balance 1906R Leather White Grey is set to release in late 2022/early 2023. It will drop at New Balance and at select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
