New Balance sure knows how to make a great gray sneaker.

While New Balance has given models like the 990 and 992 all-grey makeovers, for the first time ever, the Massachusetts-based company will be applying this iconic colorway to the 1906R with the aptly named New Balance 1906R "Grey." Set to debut as part of the 1906R’s comeback collection, you need to stop what you’re doing and take a closer look right now.
Without a shadow of a doubt, this 1906R will be one of its most popular colorways. Boasting a premium mesh and suede construction, this entire NB is drenched in a tan grey hue that will work with pretty much all of your fits. A glossy TPU cage adorns the heel for added support, and the legendary “N” logo is much more than just a logo here. In fact, it acts as part of the sneaker’s lacing system, coming together to form the N-LOCK setup that we can’t help but stare at. Elsewhere, the highly-sculpted midsole unit has been left in white, perfectly rounding off the minimalist masterpiece.
Get ready for the New Balance 1906R Grey to release sometime in 2022 in men’s sizes for $150. Expected to launch at New Balance and select online and physical retailers, follow Sole Retriever on Twitter and download our Mobile app for your best chance to cop!
