New Balance continues to prove its expertise in reimagining classic styles with contemporary appeal. This time, the brand is spotlighting the New Balance 1906R model and covering the sneaker in its signature greyscale shades.
This rendition takes the 1906R silhouette and bathes it in a cascade of grey tones, invoking the impression of a cloudy day. Light grey hues appear on the mesh base layer, allowing the leather overlays to stand out in their slightly darker finish. These overlays retain the familiar triangular shapes the 1906R is known for. Other key details remain the same, including the branding atop the tongue, midfoot, and heel — all of which come in grey. Underfoot, the foam sole unit borrowed from the 860v2 comes in a cream, black, and grey finish.
The New Balance 1906R Grey Raincloud will release July 10 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $155.
