Equipped with waterproof Cordura fabric.

If you're looking for a waterproof sneaker that's the perfect fusion between form and function, the New Balance 1906R Cordura "Desert" has been made with you in mind. While many new school sneakerheads would naturally assume that this is an all-new silhouette, old school sneakerheads will know that this model actually debuted all the way back in 2010. After a few design tweaks here and there, it's now better than ever.
Arriving in a beige-like desert hue, this 1906R features a Cordura-infused mesh base that's both waterproof and windproof. Leather paneling wraps around the entire upper for a retro look, while a glossy TPU counter around the heel offers unrivaled support with every step. Not only does the "N" logo look good, it also acts as part of the N-LOCK lacing system. Underfoot, you'll find an N-ERGY midsole and this is lined with a healthy dose of gum rubber for added traction and durability, and to round it all off, the signature "Cordura" tag can be found on the lateral heel in black.
Expected to release in 2022 in men's sizes for $150, the New Balance 1906R Cordura Desert will be available via New Balance and select retailers both online and in-store. Even more Cordura-infused colorways are expected to be announced very soon, so make sure you follow us on Twitter and download Sole Retriever's Mobile App for the latest news and updates as they develop.
