While the sneaker world raves on about models like the 327, 550, and 2002R, the Boston footwear company is taking a second to rework its underrated 1600 silhouette with an understated color palette. Aptly named the New Balance 1600 "Beige," this upcoming pair is as versatile as it gets.
It’s no secret that the 1600 doesn’t get as much attention as its other NB counterparts, but it should definitely be on your radar. A heritage model that’s the perfect addition to any collection, it’s painted in a selection of crisp hues. White mesh acts as the base of the shoe, and this is overlaid by tan nubuck and beige suede. New Balance’s signature slanted “N” logo is finely embroidered across the laterals and medials, while ABZORB branding on the heel and the midsole are here to remind you that this sneaker is as comfortable as it gets. To round it all off, this unit is randomly accented with a dash of forest green. This may seem a little random at first, but we think it offsets the colorway very nicely.
The New Balance 1600 Beige is set to release in 2022. It will drop at New Balance as well as select retailers worldwide, both online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is TBA. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
