Mixing fashion and functionality, nanamica offers consumers neutral designs that transcend genre, age, or gender. At the heart of the brand is providing a high fashion feel, construction, and vibe to functional items, leaning into the gorpcore trend that has popped up in the last few years. Their offerings don’t include footwear, though they are lending their signature design and technical concept of Gore-Tex to Puma for a collaborative project that includes two neutral colorways of the classic Puma Suede.
Dressed in two monochromatic colorways of "Vintage Khaki" and "Parisian Nights," both pairs feature Gore-Tex construction throughout the upper. Tonal laces match the various overlays and underlays with even the stitching details coming in the same hue. Located at the top of the eyestay is a Gore-Tex branded patch, not too far from the Puma and nanamica co-branded tongue tag. Back on the heel, your typical Puma logo gets replaced with a nanamica logo. Final branding details come via the tonal insoles, hosting the same co-branding found on the tongue tag. Rounding out the look is the tonal rubber midsole and outsole.
Both colorways of the nanamica x Puma Suede VTG Gore-Tex are set to release on August 27th, 2022 through nanamica and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on the latest happenings in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
