In a vibrant fusion of street style and athletic functionality, New York-based fashion label Minted NY collaborates with renowned running shoe brand Saucony to launch the Minted NY x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4. This collaboration marks an exciting chapter for both brands, combining Saucony's rich heritage in performance footwear with Minted NY's fresh, urban aesthetics. Previously, the ProGrid Triumph 4 was subject to a makeover from Highsnobiety.
The sneaker boasts a dynamic design, featuring a breathable, wide-spaced mesh upper in a crisp white tone, enhanced by striking metallic silver. The luxurious mudguard and midfoot overlay provide structural integrity and a visually arresting contrast against the lush green and subdued brown and grey accents. The green Saucony logo elegantly sweeps across the lateral midfoot, while the medial side features an arch-lock overlay in matching green, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functional support. Prominent branding elements include split logos for Minted New York and Saucony on the tongue tag, with additional New York branding on the lateral heel and dual-branded insoles, further cementing this partnership. Underneath, the design is completed with a cream foam midsole for optimal cushioning, paired with a robust black rubber outsole, ready to tackle both the runway and the pavement.
The Minted NY x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 will release on May 11, 2024, via a pre-release at the Minted New York NYC pop-up on 435 Broome Street. An online release will follow on May 15, and a drop on Saucony online on May 31. Available in men’s sizing, the sneaker will retail for $160.
