Nike Made Mike Tomlin Two Pittsburgh Steelers Nike Air Force 1 Low PEs

Mike Tomlin has been the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2007, making him the longest-tenured (active) coach not only in the NFL but also in all four major professional sports leagues in America. During this nearly 20-year period, Tomlin has made it known that he is a Nike Air Force 1 fan, often wearing the all-black version on the sidelines and even gifting the entire Steelers roster pairs of the Triple Black AF1 on multiple occasions. Last night, a rarely seen sample of Mike Tomlin Nike Air Force 1 Low Steelers PEs made an appearance on social media.

The two Steelers-themed Air Force 1s come to us courtesy of rare sneaker seller Depeche23mode, who pictured both pairs side-by-side. One version opts for a white, black, and yellow build, placing white hues on the midfoot panel, toe, tongue, and mudguard, while the heel comes in a black elephant print. The other pair is done in nearly all-black, with elephant print details also on the heel, but accents of white in the form of the Swosh and heel tab.

Both pairs feature “Est. 1933” on the vamp, the year the Steelers were founded, and Steelers text on the woven tongue label. Steelers logos are also found on the right insole, and Mike Tomlin's signature is inscribed on the left insole on both colorways. Everything comes complete with a tonal midsole and outsole.

These two Mike Tomlin Nike Air Force 1 Low Pittsburgh Steelers PEs date back to 2012, and will not be seeing release (or likely any action on the sidelines this season).
