A Pair of Self-Lacing Nike Mags Signed by Michael J. Fox Are up for Auction

Back to the Future has remained a cult-classic series for decades, with a rabid fanbase collecting every piece of gear associated with Marty McFly. For sneakerheads and fans of the franchise, the self-lacing Nike Mag worn by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future II is an all-time grail. Fans had an opportunity in 2016 to get an actual self-lacing version of the footwear. Now, one of the 89 pairs, number 17 to be exact, is up for auction with signatures from Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Tinker Hatfield accompanying it..
The pair looks standard compared to other Nike Mags. Including the LED lights on the sneaker, the grey and blue speckled heel counter and midsole, and of course, the self-lacing E.A.R.L. (Electro Adaptive Reactive Lacing) technology. Signatures for Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly), Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), and Tinker Hatfield, the Nike designer responsible for the Nike Mag and dozens of other iconic Nike/Jordan sneakers, are found on the packaging of the sneaker.
