Former 49ers Receiver Michael Crabtree Showed Off Green Suede PE 14s Courtside in Dallas

Coming into the NFL out of Texas Tech in 2009, wide receiver Michael Crabtree was a prototypical number one wideout. With incredible speed and hops, Crabtree logged a solid career split between the 49ers, Raiders, Ravens, and Cardinals. When you’ve got 10 years of NFL service, you’re bound to pick up some exclusive perks along the way, and even years after retirement, Crabtree is still breaking necks with his sneaker collection.

Crabtree, a Dallas, Texas legend, pulled up to the Mavericks-Hornets game on Thursday night, and while most fans were focused on the game, one lower bowl attendant couldn’t help but stare at Crabtree’s shoes, a pair of never-before-seen Air Jordan 14 PEs covered in shaggy monochrome green suede.

Crab’s 14s feature green laces and a green outsole to complete the look that fits perfectly with the Mavs’ throwback jersey colorway. A tiny bit of contrasting color is added with a black Jumpman logo on the vamp.

It’s safe to say this pair will never reach retail shelves, and we’re not even sure what year it made its way into Crabtree’s closet, but it’s a solid reminder that the pro athlete shoe game is simply on a different level than our mere mortal collections.
