If March 26th is Nike’s Air Max Day celebration, then they must be starting a new holiday on April 1st, and we’re not talking April Fool’s. Nike is kicking off next month with the same-day drop of two of the program’s most anticipated collabs, a pack of Vomeros and Vaporflys from Renegade Running and, on the same day, this artistically accented collection of Vomeros and Pegasus from designer Melitta Baumeister.
The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Running Collection features two pairs of black ash-splotched running shoes with bright citrus bases, a Vomero Premium in orange and a Pegasus Premium in yellow. On both pairs, black branding accents are complemented by smudges that look like charcoal paintings or remnants of a bonfire, whichever you prefer.
More artistic accents are featured on both pairs, with all-seeing eyeball graphics added to the bottom of the Air Zoom pods on the outsole of the Vomero Premium and staring out from the medial side panels of the Pegasus Premium. After debuting the Vomero at Paris Fashion Week, the Nike-sponsored runner Sha’carri Richardson introduced the Pegasus Premium earlier this month.
The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Running Collection will be released April 1, 2026 through Melitta Baumeister’s website, with a wide release through Nike on April 8. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices are set at $220 for the Pegasus Premium and $260 for the Vomero Premium.
