Skateboard brands have been obsessed with influencer marketing long before the days of social media. Through VHS tapes, DVDs, and YouTube videos, skate park demos, and in-store signings, pro skaters have been influencing young rippers to buy shoes for decades. Vans has kept up its skate-forward influencer marketing since the 1970s, expanding the crew to include surfers, singers, rappers, and more, along with OG Vans riders like 68-year-old skate legend Tony Alva. To ring in the upcoming holiday season, Vans brought together the brand’s family from every corner of culture for a new pack of cozy seasonal colorways.
The Meet the Vans Campaign, curated by Editor in Chief of i-D magazine Thom Bettridge, brings holiday designs to classic Vans silhouettes, adding cable knit, plaid, and fleece to packs of Authentics, Old Skools, and Slip-Ons, along with pearl-dotted monochromes and lacey decorative pairs. The collection also includes newer silhouettes in the Vans catalog, the Knu Skool, Super Lowpro and Mary Jane Creeper.

The fleece pairs are fuzzy slip-ons, the red and green plaid is added to Authentics and Old Skools, and Slip-Ons, the cable knit hits are added to a pair of Authentics, the pearl pack features Slip-Ons and Old Skools in grey and black, with a red doily Old Skool and more completing the Christmas morning cozy collection. The shoes are shown off in a full editorial photo shoot featuring Alva, Nettspend, Zion Wright, Efron Danzig, Bella Poarch, and more.
The Meet the Vans Collection was released November 3, 2025 through Vans and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices span from $60-$110. For all the latest Vans news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
