Everyone is getting in on the One Piece action, huh? Nike is prepping to drop its One Piece x Nike Air Max Plus collection alongside a matching apparel capsule, throughout September, while Timberland is sailing the seas with the anime at the beginning of the month. But it’s not just footwear or apparel collabs coming from the One Piece franchise. If a Nike One Piece hat, vest, and some One Piece Timberland Boots weren’t enough, you can head to McDonald’s to grab a triple collab between Mickey D’s, SpongeBob Squarepants, and One Piece.
One Piece x SpongeBob x McDonald’s Happy Meal Details
Rumors and leaks of the One Piece x SpongeBob Squarepants x McDonald’s Happy Meals have been spreading across the internet for weeks, but we finally have confirmation from McDonald’s on what’s included in the collab. The teaser video showcases various SpongeBob characters transformed to look like One Piece characters, and those transformed versions will make up the collectible toys.
Twelve different SpongeBob One Piece Happy Meal toys were created. This includes:
- SpongeBob x Luffy
- Patrick x Zoro
- Sandy x Nami
- SpongeBob x Gears Luffy
- Pearl x Robin
- Larry x Franky
- Mr. Krabs x Jinbe
- Mrs. Puff x Linlin
- Plankton x Usopp
- Squidward x Sanji
- Gary x Chopper
- Flying Dutchman x Teach
All the characters are placed aboard pirate ships, with masts displaying items and motifs associated with each of the two characters in the crossover. For example, the SpongeBob x Luffy figure showcases Luffy’s straw hat with SpongeBob’s spatula forming the crossbones of the Jolly Roger, while Squidward’s clarinet creates an “X” with Sanji’s frying pan.
