The dynamic partnership between Matthew M Williams and Nike has consistently produced cutting-edge sneaker designs blending functionality with fashion. The latest result of this collaboration is the Nike MMW 005, a foam-based slip-on that exudes the avant-garde design language Williams has become famous for. Launching alongside the “Volt” colorway, a “Dark Khaki” rendition has emerged.
Across the mixed color foam upper, we see white hues transition into black and khaki shades from heel to toe. Perforations along the forefoot strap and midfoot aid breathability, while we see the footbed also host perforations. Co-branded details appear on the footbed and the spine of the forefoot strap. Underfoot sits a TPU shank plate that offers stability, while the outsole comes in a foam material like the upper.
The Matthew M Williams x Nike MMW 005 Dark Khaki will release June 9 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
