The Mason Silva x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Releases In May

Skateboarder Mason Silva has been tearing up the scene so well over the last few years that Thrasher named Silva “Skater Of The Year” in 2020. As a team rider for Nike SB, the Cali-born pro skater prefers to rock the classic SB Zoom Blazer Mid, a skateboard-ready rework of the classic 1970s Nike silhouette. Nike SB has now given Mason the green light to design his collaborative colorway on the iconic model.

Featuring a black all-leather upper with white accent stitching throughout, Mason keeps things edgy with silver metallic accents on branding details. While most of the sneaker is doused in black, the tongue receives a beautiful shade of dark aqua green that contrasts the black laces and its metal aglets. Sitting atop the exposed foam tongue is a co-branded Nike SB and Mason Silva logo on the tongue tag, featuring a chain link-like design for its Nike text. This edgy touch is also seen on the heel tab. Along the midfoot, a stacked Swoosh features a smooth white leather on the bottom and silver tumbled leather on top. More co-branded hits between Nike and Mason Silva are spotted on the insole, while a white midsole and outsole complete the design.

The Mason Silva x Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid will be released on May 2nd, 2023, through Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly through Nike online. The shoe will be available in men's sizing for a retail price of $110.
