Crocs has become a household name not only for its distinctive footwear but also for its exciting collaborations. The brand's recent venture with Marvel is set to thrill fans in 2024 with two Crocs Echo Clog colorways paying homage to the leader of the Avengers, Captain America. This collaboration is a part of Crocs' continued efforts to embrace popular culture, following up on their recent partnerships with Naruto and SpongeBob Squarepants.
This latest endeavor with Marvel celebrates the iconic Captain America character in two distinct designs, each representing different eras of the superhero. The first clog in the pack pays homage to Steve Rogers, the original Captain America, featuring a color scheme of red, white, and blue that mirrors his iconic suit. The clog showcases red and white stripes on the toe, while the upper half is adorned in blue, reflecting the superhero's patriotic theme.
The second clog is dedicated to Sam Wilson, once known as the Falcon, who takes on the mantle of Captain America and leads the Avengers once Steve retires. In contrast to Steve Rogers's, Wilson's pair features a predominantly white design with the Falcon logo prominently displayed on the toe box. The clog is further enhanced with Captain America's shield and Falcon's wings on the sports mode strap.
Both pairs in the Marvel x Crocs Echo Clog Captain America Pack include distinctive details such as Captain America's shield as a Jibbitz charm and the respective names of Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson on the footbed, alongside the Captain America logo.
The Marvel x Crocs Echo Clog Captain America Pack will release June 11, 2024, through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and kids' sizing, the retail price for the kids' Steve Rogers pair is set at $75, while the adult Sam Wilson pair is priced at $90.
