Luxury fashion house Maison Margiela regularly links up with Reebok, releasing plenty of Classic Leather and Club C looks over the years. For their first foray into Reebok basketball silhouettes, Maison Margiela puts a deconstructed look on two Reebok Question Mids.
Staying in line with the Maison Margiela color palette, the two offerings come in your choice of black or white. A premium tumbled leather takes over the upper with pieces of overlays seemingly ripped along the heel tab and midfoot, exposing a yellowed foam. A set of laces match the rest of the silhouette, resting above the oversized tongue with a modified lacing system. On the reverse of the tongue, you’ll find a co-branded Maison Margiela and Reebok tag. Back on the heel, the usual "3" branding is replaced with the number 22, a common detail found on Maison Margiela footwear. The last hit of branding from the French fashion house is located on the insole, placed above the standard Reebok logo. Finishing the look is the Hexalite cushioned midsole set to an icy blue and black rubber outsole on the white and black pairs respectively.
The Maison Margiela x Reebok Question Mid in both “Black” and “White” is set to release sometime in 2022 through Reebok, Maison Margiela, and select retailers online and in-store.
