When it comes to collaborations with Reebok, Hardy Blechman's maharishi is certainly no stranger to them. After taking on the Classic Leather and LT Court back in October of last year, the East-meets-West label has now reunited with the American sportswear company for the maharishi x Reebok Zig Kinetica 2.5 "Camo." Unlike their previous collabs which are usually quite simple and straightforward, maharishi's rendition of the Zig Kinetica 2.5 fully embraces the silhouette's chunky and detailed design. Working on top of a textile base, this is completely covered in the clothing brand's "Golden Tigerstripe" motif which gives it a militaristic aesthetic. Buttery suede ventures towards the lacing system and patent leather panels swoop across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while co-branding is finely stitched onto both tongues in a striking orange hue. Shifting your focus underfoot, the sneaker sits on top of an extra thick Floatride midsole which has been infused with Vibram technology for enhanced energy return, finalizing the stealthy aesthetic
