Ewing Athletics Expands its Pro Wrestling Collab with a Macho Man Randy Savage Colorway

Patrick Ewing was an icon of the ‘80s and ‘90s New York Knicks teams, and in the wake of the team’s recent championship win, Ewing’s sneaker brand, Ewing Athletics, has been in the public eye more than ever. For his latest collabs, though, Ewing is ditching the current celeb landscape for a throwback to the superstars of his era.

Ewing Hits the Ropes

Following up on an Ewing Athletics 33 HI colorway for pro wrestler Ric Flair that dropped at the top of the month, the latest Ewing keeps the wrestling theme afloat with a multi-colored, sunglass-wearing Macho Man Randy Savage colorway. Featuring an even brighter color combo than the Ric Flair pair, the Macho Man colorway is a tribute to Randy’s iconic headband.

Covering the entire upper in yellow, purple, pink, and blue, the pastel pair is ready for Easter, starting with a yellow outsole and stacking up robin’s egg blue, pink, and deep purple on the midsole. The upper blends all four shades in a puzzle-piece style mix, with Randy Savage written on the black ankle strap that holds the sunglasses accessories in place on the front of the tongue.
