adidas is on a hot streak of collaborations lately, recently working with the likes of SNS, Gucci, Balenciaga, and BAIT just to name a few. Now the Three Stripes is looking to Mars Inc. and their world-famous M&M’s candy to provide a customizable sneaker on the adidas Forum Low 84.
Dressed in a yellow rubberized leather across the upper with chocolate brown hits accenting, the silhouette comes chock full of M&M’s references. On the toebox, the usual perforated leather is overtaken by an M perforation while the eyelet houses an M&M’s branded flag that can be removed if you choose. Along the midfoot, you’ll notice a yellow M&M with a velcro backing.
For those looking for customizable options, you’re in luck because included in the packaging is twenty lace jewels, six extra laces, and two straps, all of which feature various M&M’s colors and phrases. Speaking of the straps, the one that comes on the silhouette originally borrows from the yellow upper and features a multi-color combo of M&M’s on the branding window. Chocolate brown appears on the midfoot Three Stripes, sockliner, and rubber outsole while the EVA cushioned midsole with exposed Dellinger webbing in white finishes the candy-coated look.
The M&M’s x adidas Forum Low 84 is set to release on April 19th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select adidas retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
