Starting back in 2019, Nike and LPL began working together to support the League of Legends, which is the largest pro gaming league in China. Following up their Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT that dropped in 2020, LPL has now put their twist on the classic Nike Dunk Low.
Known as the “League of Legends” edition, the LPL x Nike Dunk Low comes in a black, white and bright crimson colorway. Giving off Nike Air Yeezy vibes, these Dunks sport a black-based upper made up of various premium materials such as suede, leather and an embroidered graphic inspired by traditional Chinese iconography. White accents the 3M reflective “Swoosh” outline on the sides as well as the laces, back heel tab and dual branding on the tongue tag. Bright crimson adorns the collar lining and dual branded insole patch while a full glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes things off.
The LPL x Nike Dunk Low “League of Legends” is set to release sometime in early 2022. It will launch at Nike and select stores exclusively in China. A limited release, they will be available exclusively in men’s sizing.
