A High Top Louis Vuitton Skateboarding Model Has Emerged

While recently revealing the Louis Vuitton LVSK8, a high top variant of a Louis Vuitton skate shoe has made its rounds online. Inspired by retro silhouettes, the Louis Vuitton High 8 is a luxury take on classic high top sneakers of the past.

This LV take brings opulent materials and craftsmanship to skating. Premium leather covers the upper with multiple overlays and tonal stitching, providing contours and shape to this simple design. Louis Vuitton branding is scattered throughout with an interlocked LV logo on the mid foot and Louis Vuitton split between each pair. Running up the two-toned eyelets, flat white laces work towards the wavy padded tongue. Along the collar, perforated padding reminiscent of the Air Jordan 6 is present. Down on the rubber outsole, the LV Trainer design language is present with monogram motifs landing on the heel. All of this is rounded out by a heavily tractioned rubber outsole, providing stable grip to skate with.

The Louis Vuitton High 8 is scheduled to release in 2022 through Louis Vuitton and select LV retailers online and in-store. No retail price has been announced but expect them to garner luxury pricing.
