Lionel Messi and Ronnie Fieg Reveal a Collaborative adidas Line for the World Cup

If you’re going to jump on the World Cup wave ahead of this summer’s global games, you may as well go all out. As Kith celebrates its 15th anniversary, global soccer icon Lionel Messi has teamed up with adidas and Ronnie Fieg’s NYC-based streetwear and retail giant for a complete collection of sneakers, cleats, clothing, and accessories to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Messi’s first World Cup appearance.

The Kith x Lionel Messi adidas Collection was previewed in an Instagram post from Fieg, who paired images of the two in design and sample sessions with a heartfelt caption detailing a year-long process dedicated to meeting Messi’s exact technical specifications. In the preview images, we can see Messi and Fieg looking over pairs of Megaride, soccer-paneled Ultraboost, Predators, cleats, and more.

“Working on this collection is a dream I never thought possible,” Fieg wrote. “Kith entered the football space in 2017 with our first adidas collection. Since then, we have released five collections, all leading us to this one…working with the greatest player to ever live @leomessi.”
