Lil Yachty Popped Up in NYC Wearing a New Felt Grey Air Force 1 Collab

Leave it to Lil Yachty to steal the show in the city that never sleeps. Hot off a Finals road win for the Knicks, the only thing we’re focused on in the streets of NYC this afternoon is a new pair of Concrete Boys Air Force 1 collabs that popped up on Lil Yachty’s feet this week.

A Full Foot of Felt Fabric

The Lil Yachty x Nike Us Force 1 Mid Felt trades the Air branding for some family ties connection, standing out immediately with an “It’s Us” tongue tag replacing the classic Nike Air hit. As for the shoe itself, the mid-top colorway is covered in a grey felt fabric look with specs of colored thread interspersed throughout.

Only seen in a couple of quick on-foot and in-hand images, the pair features the felt fabric from toe to heel, onto the tongue, strap, and down to the midsole for a full foot of shedding, pilling felt. The laces, tongue tag, outsole, and heel tab add grey leather to keep the color consistent, and a Concrete Boys logo in more grey on the lateral heel.
