Inspired by Afrofuturism, the Way of Wade 11 is designed to tell the story of Wade’s life, from his three NBA championships to personal milestones such as his zodiac sign and his daughter’s name. The debut 305 colorway pays tribute to Wade’s legendary career with the Miami Heat, where he became a symbol of the city and its basketball culture.
The Li-Ning Way of Wade 11 is engineered with the latest advancements in performance technology. The upper is crafted from premium leather, providing stability and lockdown support while ensuring durability. The midsole features an EVA frame that stabilizes the structure, enhancing stability during lateral movements.
A Carbon Core Drive System integrates carbon plates into the midsole to maximize stability and energy return, complementing the Boom cushioning for a responsive and efficient ride. The TPU heel counter keeps players locked in and serves as a canvas displaying key moments from Wade’s journey. Additionally, the GCU outsole offers excellent grip and durability thanks to a specially formulated molecular rubber structure.
The Way of Wade 11 also showcases a new variation of Wade’s iconic logo, representing the four pillars of his life: family, basketball, charity, and fashion. This model intertwines the past and future of culture and technology, reflecting Wade’s journey on and off the court.
The Way of Wade 11 305 is set to release on June 29, 2024, exclusively via KICKSCREW and Way of Wade online and select retailers. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $225.
