ANTA Kyrie Irving Hélà Style Roots Ombre Pack

The wave of NBA off-season sneaker releases continues, this time from Kyrie Irving and ANTA, who are bringing the previously China-exclusive Hélà Style Roots lifestyle model stateside in a two-colorway Ombre pack.

A skate-inspired silhouette constructed with a suede upper and thick rubber sole, the Hélà Style Roots takes clear inspiration from the Lanvin Curb Multi-Lace. Just like the high-fashion sneaker, Kyrie’s lifestyle model features a handful of colorful laces and eyelets that extend to the bottom of the sidewall for a bright, customizable lacing system. The Ombre Pack features two pairs, Black Ombre and Blue Ombre, both taking on gradients of suede across the upper, with the lightest parts falling on the middle panel. The black pair gets a tan midsole and gum sole, while the blue pair takes on a double white sidewall.

Since joining ANTA in 2023, Kyrie Irving has let his personality and style ethos shine in every project, taking particular care to pay respect to his Native American heritage. The first American release of the Hélà Style Roots is no different, with stitching and design flares representing Irving’s ties to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

The pair also includes a set of four symbolic “plates” on the outsole that represent pillars of Kyrie’s worldview; the root plate honoring his mom and dad, the court plate as an homage to his jersey number, the tribal plate featuring Hélà Chief text, and the cultural plate, a fusion of Native shaman handprints and a Tai Chi Yin-Yang symbol.

The ANTA Hélà Style Roots Ombre Pack will be released August 16, 2025, through ANTA, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Scheels, Hibbett, Shoe Palace, Sneaker Politics, Extra Butter, Nice Kicks, Social Status, Feature, and Lapstone & Hammer. A second release will take place at Foot Locker on August 23. The retail price is set at $125.
