The Korn x adidas Collection Releases October 27

If you were around in the late '90s to early '00s, you probably heard of Korn. Korn is a nu-metal band from Bakersfield, CA and is considered one of the pioneers of the genre. The band was frequently seen in adidas gear on stage in its early days. Lead singer Jonathan Davis even customized some of his Three Stripes tracksuits by bedazzling and adding sequins. In 1996, Korn released its second album; Life Is Peachy. The album featured a track called "A.D.I.D.A.S.," an acronym for "all day I dream about sex," often heard by pre-teens. According to a report by Kicksfinder and later confirmed by Brendan Dunne of Complex, Korn and adidas are coming together for a limited collection that includes footwear and apparel.

In recent years, Korn has been seen sporting adidas gear more frequently. Before this, the band had deals with Puma and Pony. Even so, fans of Korn will always associate The Three Stripes with the group over other partnerships. Kicking things off for the Korn x adidas Collection are two pairs of shoes, the Supermodified and the Campus 00s. The adidas Supermodified comes in a clean white and black colorway featuring a leather-based upper, fat laces, and a rubber shell toe. Dual branding is seen on the tongues, with custom printed insoles featuring the cover of Korn's Life Is Peachy album. The adidas Campus 00s plays opposite its Supermodified counterpart, coming in a black and white colorway. The upper is comprised of black suede with white leather Three Stripes branding and a gum rubber outsole. Dual branding is once again present on the tongues, as well as the back heels. On the sides, the "Campus" branding gets a makeover, coming in Korn's signature font. Two t-shirts, a hoodie, and two tracksuits make up the apparel component. One of the tracksuits, the purple set, also comes embellished with sequins, just like Jonathan Davis' custom suits from that era.

The Korn x adidas Collection will release October 27, 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130 for the Campus 00s, $140 for the Supermodified, and $50-$180 for the apparel.
