Ja Morant’s season may have been filled with ups and downs but his third signature model has consistently been a hit. Though the Ja 3 hasn’t had much court time from the man himself, it still continues to produce highlights in the wake of Ja’s on-court absence due to a lingering elbow injury.
The distinctive silhouette has had a wealth of eye-catching colorways, from tiger stripes to an upcoming collab pack with Jurassic Park. From one childhood favorite to the next, Ja Morant is collaborating with all of his most nostalgic moments, and the famed drink mix Kool-Aid is next on the list.
After Morant took to Instagram to leak the colorway prior to the start of the 2025-2026 NBA season, official images of the grade school rendition of Morant’s latest collaboration with Kool-Aid have come crashing in.
Continuing the mismatched theme from the duo’s previous collaboration, the right shoe comes with a yellow upper, green JA branding with the “A” having a wavy fluid-like shape resembling poured juice, and a solid light blue midsole as opposed to the translucent outsole of the adult size. The left shoe consists of a pink upper with blue and red JA branding on the lateral side and features the same solid light blue midsole.
Other commonalities include blue details on the medial Swooshes, sockliner, laces, and tongue, and pink “twelve” embroidery on the heel. Ja’s chevron logo appears on the left tongue while the Kool-Aid Man bursts onto center stage on the right. Speaking of the Kool-Aid Man, his catchphrase “ohhhhhhh yeahhhh” can be found printed on the insoles. Finishing the sugar-sweet silhouette are water droplet graphics printed on the tongue that hit like a cold glass of Kool-Aid on a warm summer day.
