Kith's collaborations with iconic brands have always been a focal point in the sneaker community, and its ties with Converse have produced some slick reinterpretations of classic models. As we head into the latter half of 2023, Kith has unveiled its Fall Classics collection for 2023, with the standout being their revamped Chuck Taylor All-Star 1970.
Drawing inspiration from the warm hues of autumn, this "Gingerbread" colorway of the Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 Hi perfectly embodies the season. The canvas upper is adorned with Kith's recognizable monogram pattern, ensuring the sneaker's distinctiveness. Its durability is further enhanced by metal eyelets accompanying the flat cotton laces, and a sturdy side panel offers additional reinforcement. Throughout the upper, we also see white contrast stitching and the iconic Converse All-Star logo on the medial side. Besides the monogram pattern on the upper, Kith finds another home on the sole unit near the toe while we see Converse’s usual rubber patch placed on the heel. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and gum rubber outsole.
The Kith x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 Hi Gingerbread will release August 25, 2023, exclusively through Kith online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
