Kiko Kostadinov Continues Asics Hot Streak with UB11-S GeL-DS Trainer 14 Pack

You can’t step foot in any American city these days without seeing Asics mesh runners stepping towards you. From high school track meets and lawn mowing to sold out releases and bold collabs, the Asics revolution has been a sight to behold. The hot streak continues this month with two new pairs of UB11-S Gel-DS Trainer 14s crafted by designer Kiko Kostadinov.

Continuing a collaboration that began in 2018 and evolved into the Novalis label in 2023, Kostadinov is making his way through the Asics SportStyle roster one model at a time. Kostadinov, a London-based designer from Bulgaria, already has dozens of colorways in the Asics archives, and the latest two UB11-S Gel DS Trainer 14s, in Coneflower and Graphite Grey, are a contrasting blend of bright and subtle.

Coneflower brings together a classic combo of pale pink and dark brown that verges on purple for the upper with outlines of robin’s egg blue bordering the Asics logos on either side, and pale yellow stripes accenting the toebox and heel to complete the easter-ready look.

Graphite Grey, on the other hand, sees the mesh runner done up in a grey so dark it looks black paired with a cream side panel and silver accents around the side logos heel, and toebox blocking.

The Kiko Kostadinov x Asics UB11-S Gel-DS Trainer 14 Pack is currently listed for release on August 29, 2025, via multiple overseas retailers, so it’s likely this is the global drop date. In Japan, retail pricing is set at ¥18,700 (approx. $127).
