Pursuit of Happiness: Kid Cudi Debuts a New Off-White Collab Sneaker and Clothing Capsule

Kid Cudi has been a staple in the streetwear scene since before his music broke out, when he was just an employee at the NYC BAPE store trying to make it as a rapper. Now, nearly 18 years after his mixtape debut, Cudi is back with another legacy icon born from the Midwest, Off-White.

The new Kid Cudi x Off-White collection features a white-on-white pair of Off-White’s bulky Out Of Office skate shoe with personalized Cudi details. The rest of the collection adds hoodies and t-shirts with Scott Mescudi and Off-White co-branding and words like Focus and Artist in parentheses, giving us vibes similar to the charitable (Red) campaign from two decades ago.

Cudi debuted the collection at Paris Fashion Week, modeling the gear around the city while smoking cigarettes and sitting on cobblestone sidewalks in a very Parisian manner. The Off-White brand has taken a slight turn since it was divested from the LVMH brand family, but with collabs like this, the brand is still showing a nod towards its past.
