Fifteen-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant has one of the most storied sneaker lines in all of basketball history. Not only does he have a laundry list of achievements in each silhouette, but he’s also touted a slew of iconic colorways to boot. One of Durant’s most memorable silhouettes is the Nike KD 6, a sneaker that practically invented the Nike Elite socks/sneaker combo. Those legendary kicks are the ones he donned en route to his MVP season, where he routinely tortured and methodically picked apart defenses to the tune of 32 points a game.

Nike has regularly shown love to the KD line with retros of his earlier models appearing throughout the years, including the return of the KD 3 and KD 4 over the last few years. Now, it’s time for the KD 6 to have a moment in the sun once more, with the KD 6 All-Star making a comeback. After earlier leaks and speculation, official photos of the colorway have made their way online for the sneaker’s impending return.

The KD 6 All-Star was originally released in 2014 as a part of Nike’s New Orleans-inspired Gumbo League collection that also featured colorways for LeBron and Kobe. Drawing from Durant’s unpredictable and unguardable nature, the sneaker features an abstract design highlighted with red, yellow, white, and teal atop and black Hyperfuse upper. A matching teal outsole that glows in the dark tops off the classic look. It looks like the KD 6 All-Star is just the tip of the iceberg with the Nike KD 6 Peanut Butter & Jelly, Brazil, Meteorology, and Aunt Pearl set to follow suit.

The Nike KD 6 All-Star NOLA Gumbo will be released February 27, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $145. For all the latest Nike KD news, download the Sole Retriever mobile app now.
