As a part of the Spaghetti Boys with Asspizza and other Harlem-based creatives, Kerwin Frost found his own within the creative space of design and videography, eventually landing a partnership with adidas and launching an interview show over on YouTube. Already providing The Three Stripes with wild takes on the adidas Forum and a full-on Yeti suit, Kerwin took to Instagram to share the second colorway of the upcoming Kerwin Frost x adidas Microbounce T1.
Much like his adidas Forum Low "Benchmate," the silhouette is doused in a myriad of colors with an eclectic choice of materials constructing the upper. Down along the toe and eyestays, a blue faux-fur makes up the overlays while a mint green mesh blesses the toebox underlay. Yellow terry cloth laces run up the mint green tongue, sitting below the red leather strap with Kerwin Frost branding and a portrait of a wild-looking character on the end of the strap. Along the midfoot sitting atop the mint green leather is a red and yellow mixed Three Stripes branding. Back towards the heel, you’ll find more of the blue faux-fur located on the pull-tab and the overlay below. The sockliner and insole get covered green with Kerwin Frost and adidas co-branding graphics to match. Underfoot, a yellow and orange Microbounce midsole is paired with a red rubber outsole.
The Kerwin Frost x adidas Microbounce T1 is set to release on July 13th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is TBA.
