First picking up a board when he was six years old, Kader Sylla was able to become a professional skateboarder only ten years later by signing with Baker Skateboards and making the Supreme skate team. Still at the young age of 19, his stock has continued to climb with the recent announcement that Kader is joining adidas Skateboarding. Fresh off this signing, adidas and Kader are coming out with his own colorway on the adidas Superstar ADV.
Dressed in a monochromatic black across the entire leather upper, gold accents dress the branding details. The usual shell toe makes an appearance in black sitting below the fat laces that run up the black tongue to the gold adidas branded tongue tag. Along the midfoot, the all-black look continues on the fur-covered adidas Three Stripes and leather underlays. Gold Kader branding takes the place of the usual adidas writing on the sides. Wrapping around the back, a thick patch of faux fur overtakes the heel tab. Rounding out the look is a black on black midsole and rubber outsole combo.
The Kader Sylla x adidas Superstar ADV is scheduled to release on March 5th, 2022 through adidas.com/skateboarding and select skate shops online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
