There aren’t many people who could headline a massive music festival like Coachella, load up YouTube videos, and do karaoke on stage. Justin Bieber can get away with that and be hailed a genius for the performance. Not only are people still talking about his on-stage presence last Saturday, but the focus has shifted to his fashion brand SKYLRK. He broke Coachella’s record for merch sales, generating over $5 million in just one weekend of the festival alone, shattering the previous record of $1.7 million, which was combined between two weekends.
Merch items sold at Coachella included T-shirts referencing Bieber's viral “standing on business” moment with the paparazzi, phone cases with joint holders, zebra print and polka dot hoodies, Coachella-themed graphic hoodies, Justin Bieber Live Coachella shirts, crochet masks, and even a jersey with Bieber flicking off the camera. The items were not only sold on-site at Coachella, but they also made their way online, selling out quickly.
Bieber is set to perform once again at Coachella on Saturday night during the festival's second weekend, and hopefully the merch restocks online for us who couldn’t drop the bag to fly out to the desert for a weekend of partying. If items restock, we’ll notify you via the Sole Retriever mobile app in real-time. In the meantime, check below for images of some of the merch that Bieber offered for his Coachella headlining set.
