There’s been a ton of sneaker coverage around two of the biggest sporting events of the year, the NBA Finals and the World Cup, but there’s still time to squeeze in some fashion-related drops. Even switching gears to fashion, the industry has been pulling from the beautiful game for months now, and that’s exactly what Justin Bieber’s SKYLRK did for its first true sneaker release. After teasing the then-unnamed low-top sneaker, SKYLRK’s Matterdaddies shoe sold out in less than 10 minutes when it released today.
Justin Bieber’s SKYLRK Matterdaddies Details
The low-top silhouette draws direct inspiration from soccer shoes of the past, with a thin, low-profile sole unit and a shape you’ll often see on the pitch or on indoor soccer fields. Straying from the traditional soccer cleat build, the shoe uses a mixture of jersey mesh and synthetic overlays, the latter wrapping around in organic circular and oval shapes akin to the adidas Yeezy 700 v3.
SKYLRK branding is kept minimal, with Justin Bieber’s brand name spelled out on the heel tab and the brand’s logo present on the insole. Finishing the shoe is the gum rubber sole unit, which is low to the ground. The first two colorways to release, Ash and Smoke, both sold out within 10 minutes of Bieber announcing the surprise drop today for SKYLRK, which also featured hoodies, painters pants, beanies, and waffle crewnecks.
SKYLRK Matterdaddies Restock and Release Info
The first colorways of the SKYLRK Matterdaddies were released today, June 11, 2026, to commemorate the start of the World Cup and sold out in under 10 minutes. SKYLRK drops come at random, and releases are typically announced the day of, so there’s no confirmation on if or when these colorways will restock.
