JuJu Watkins Gifts USC Teammates Her New Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo PE

When we first saw photos of the red and gold Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo Player Exclusive pop up, we had only one thought in mind: JuJu Watkins. The future of women’s basketball has been sidelined with an injury this season, but after dominating in high school and carrying her undeniable talent into USC for incredible freshman and sophomore years, the flower-embroidered PE could only mean one thing in our mind - Nike was already ready to give JuJu her flowers, injury or not.

Not to say we told you so, but JuJu confirmed our suspicions this week, bringing the Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo PE out for the first time as a gift for her USC basketball teammates. In a video posted to social media, JuJu steps into a team meeting to address the USC women’s hoops squad with a stack of Nike boxes on a table at the front of the room. “I wanted to surprise you guys,” Watkins tells her teammates. “I did a shoe with Nike, and I wanted you to be the first to get it.”

JuJu’s Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo PE features a fully maroon upper with golden yellow accents on the side panel and tongue logo, Swooshes, and the laces. The shoe adds a white sock liner to match the team’s home jerseys and a flower embroidered on the underside of the tongue.

Unlike most of the year’s college team PEs so far this season, the Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo JuJu Watkins PE will be released to the public this holiday season, giving hoops fans everywhere a chance to get in on the USC action.
