The “Hope Diamond” colorway of the Zion 2 takes inspiration from the infamous blue diamond set within a pendant that has changed hands countless times since the 17th century before landing in the Smithsonian Institute. Unlike the colorless diamonds surrounding it, the Hope Diamond is a uniquely deep hue of blue, the one trait that separates it from any other diamond. Multi-faceted and wondrously unique are ways you can describe both the Hope diamond and Zion Williamson’s game on the court, and appropriate comparison for the second of the two launch colorways of the Jordan Zion 2.
Coming in half blue, pink prime, and deep royal blue, this pair features a predominantly pale blue synthetic leather upper with a small hit of pink on the "Zoom Air" branding found on the midfoot strap. The white portion of the midsole is matched with a white outsole, with a singular pod of vibrant pink traction prominently placed in the middle. The bootie and heel lockdown are patterned with a dazzling light effect, the blue backdrop similar to the hue of the Hope Diamond. Satisfying the motif of light passing through the Hope Diamond, the Zion logo sits on a solid blue portion of the tongue in half blue, with matching laces that work themselves up the sneaker.
